extra Coordination Committee of the ENRD
8 April 2010The European Network for Rural Development (ENRD) alongside DG AGRI have recently announced the organisation of an "extra Coordination Committee" meeting which is to take place in Brussels on the 14th of April 2010.
ELARD has been officially invited to take part in this event and will be represented by its President, Mr. Panagiotis Patras.
The objective of the extra Coordination Committee meeting is for the Commission to present to the members of the CC a proposal to launch a joint debate in their country/organisation on rural development policy, and to discuss the process to achieve a timely and structured contribution to the broader public debate on the CAP in the coming months. The outcomes of these debates shall be presented and discussed during the following Coordination Committee which is foreseen to take place on the 8th of June 2010.
