The European Commission Directorates-General for Regional and Urban Policy, Employment and Social Affairs, Agriculture and Rural Development, and Maritime Affairs and Fisheries, are proudly announcing their third joint seminar on Community-led Local Development (CLLD)
"Capitalising on CLLD experiences – Building resilient local communities"
8 - 10 November 2017
The seminar will bring together CLLD actors from local, regional, national and EU level as well as relevant NGOs. The event will provide an opportunity for peer learning, active involvement in discussions and exchanges between Local Action Groups, CLLD networks, experts, EU programme Managing Authorities and European Commission services.
During this seminar we will focus on:
- CLLD being put into practice: experience and learning from CLLD applied in rural, urban and coastal areas and in promoting inclusion
- Newcomers to the CLLD community: the urban and social dimension
- Paving the way forward: how to use European programmes and funds better in supporting local capacity building and bottom-up local initiatives
The CLLD approach is supported by four European Structural and Investment Funds. It involves Local Action Groups throughout the EU, implementing local strategies in urban and rural areas, in areas depending on fisheries and promoting inclusion of specific target groups.
An invitation to register for the seminar in Győr will be distributed in September.
