Description (brief history)

Location: Territory for development Medgidia is located in South-East of Romania on the middle of Constanta County.

Organization: Public - private associative institution, founded from 8 public administrations (6 rural, 1 town, Prefecture Constanta) and 10 institution from the private sector. (4 NGO and 6 SRL - LTD)

Activities

Elaboration the local strategy for rural development 2007 - 2013.
Participation in the elaboration of National Plan for Rural Development PNDR 2007 - 2013.
Involved the LAG teritory in Crossborder cooperation projects, INTERREG4C, LifeLong Learning projects.
We prepared a team of 12 persons from public adminstration in quality of "Agent for development".

Increase the social capital of population, strengthen the community spirit and promote local action based on the local citizens initiative and, improve the quality of life

Remade and sustain the natural heritage.
