Description (brief history)

The organization had been formed in year 2004 by those legal entities/actors of the Hungarian “experimental” LEADER+ program which were selected in 2001. In year 2005 the organization applied for membership in ELARD and established contacts with other national networks. Since 2007 the organization organizes the big nationwide “LEADER Expo” covering and exposing the whole rural development activity of the nation in the capital Budapest.

Aims – Objectives

Since the launch of the organization its main objectives is
a) to protect the interests of the selected LAG’s and members of the LAG’s,
b) offers trainings, seminars,
c) organizes national and international expositions to ensure networking in national and EU levels.
