Description (brief history)
The mission of Slovenian Rural Development Network, which was established in 2002, is to bring together all those individuals and organisations, who are involved, at different levels in rural development in Slovenia.The networks main concern is to inform and to educate its members and the interested public, so that the well-being of rural people in Slovenia can be effectivelv pursued. It will act as a meeting point and a focus for coordination and support to integrated development and practical rural projects, and will represent the interests of its members at the national and international level.

Aims & Objectives
The aim of the network is effective cooperation and mutual help among individuals and organisations from the countryside, in order to ensure effective representation of rural interests and the flow of information between government and non-govemment bodies and from local to regional, national and international level.
