Description (brief history)
The LAG has been in operation since the LEADER+ Programme in 2002 when the Cairngorms Nationla Park was formed. A strong Partnership of community, business and public agency representatives many excellent projects have taken place during this period. With more than 300 approvals to date, projects cover youth development and training, product development and landscape and the environment.
A transnational project is now underwy with Bavaria, involving youth development and Junior Euro Rangers.
The LAG are now fully committed until the end of the current Programme and are planning for the next one.
