ELARD Participation in LEADER Conference
The European LEADER Association for Rural Development has been invited to participate in the upcoming LEADER Conference which is set to take place on the 21st and 23rd of June in Iasi - Romania.
The Conference is organised by a Partnership lead by B2B AGENCY SRL and the potential Local Action Group COTNARI (GAL COTNARI). The aforementioned are implementing a project financed by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD) through the Romanian National Programme for Rural Development - Axis IV LEADER, which aims to set-up a Local development strategy for the future LAG's target-area, covering 11 communes and one small town and located in Iasi District (North-East region of Romania).
The main topics of the Conference - in addition to the validation of the Local Development Strategy - are based upon key-issues of the LEADER approach such as planning, cooperation, networking and innovation.
ELARD shall be represented by its President, Mr. Panagiotis Patras.
